Northumbria University Propane Heat Pump Case Study

 

In 2022 Clade delivered a full design, manufacture and installation of an Air Source Heat Pump heating system for Northumbria University.

Two buildings on the University’s campus received the new heating systems that warm the lecture theatres, offices, cafes and other facilities within the buildings found in the heart of Newcastle City Centre.

Clade supplied two 150KW and three 200KW r290 (propane) air source heat pumps. Operating at 60⁰C flow temperatures and with a design return
of 40⁰C.

We have supported the heat pumps with our Aftercare services ever since.
