Job Role: Account Manager

Location: Leeds

As part of the Senior Team within Projects, this role is the key point of contact for Clade’s project customers and internal colleagues ensuring effective communication and completion of tasks and problem solving.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Primary contact for Clade’s key project customers including general communication and escalations
  • Liaising & chief communicator between Clade’s customers, installation/delivery teams and aftersales team.
  • Take responsibility for the financial aspects of the key customer accounts, working closely with Clade Operations Manager, Costing Managers and Installation Manager.
  • Communicate all customer changes including contractual specification and process changes to Clade project teams and ensure these are followed.
  • Feeding back any issues/learnings into the relevant Clade department so they can be prevented in future
  • Take responsibility of problems and try to resolve them before they escalate or get passed to another Clade team member
  • Attend all general customer meetings, participate and feedback information to relevant Clade departments/sub-departments
  • Proactively contact key customers on a regular basis – build & grow relationships and seek out fresh opportunities
  • Take in customer feedback and bringing back to the delivery team for action
  • Work closely with the aftersales team to ensure projects are being installed to the highest of standards at all times
  • Monitor customer KPIs scores, collating & tracking progress
  • Produce monthly reports for Projects Director detailing an overview of all key customer updates and activities in the month prior
  • Send out reminders, spec changes and messages on a regular basis to Clade project team
  • Be part of Senior Projects Team & participate in twice weekly meetings

Job Role: Commissioning Engineer

Location: Leicester

Travel is required within the role.

Our Projects department within Clade Engineering Systems  is recruiting for another skilled Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer to join the growing team and assist with the commissioning of refrigeration plant, water chillers and pump stations. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact supporting our projects installation team by ensuring the commissioning of site based complex refrigeration systems across the UK.

Ideally you will have refrigeration commissioning experience gained within the food retail sector, using natural refrigerants and the latest controls for refrigeration plant. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the safe management of pressure testing and have an eye for quality.

Qualifications or recent experience and knowledge of working with most types of commercial or light industrial plant products will be helpful but not essential.

You will work principally in the region close to your home base however occasionally will also be required to work across the UK to cover holiday periods and at times of high demand. There may also be the opportunity to work overseas on occasions.

• This is a site based commissioning role working on predominantly supermarket refrigeration systems.

Job Role: Trainee Commissioning Engineer

Location: Newcastle

Our Team at Clade Engineering Systems is looking to recruit a Trainee Commissioning Engineer who is flexible and willing to work at various site locations around UK.  The ideal candidate will have a refrigeration service background and ideally within a supermarket/retails setting. FGAS qualification is a must have and CO2 experience is preferred. A good attitude to work is essential within the refrigeration industry in order to fulfil deadlines set out by the clients. The role may require overnight stays or evening work therefore flexibility is needed.

Job Role: Project Manager

Location: Flexible

Reporting into our Projects Operations Manager, we are looking to expand our Projects department due to growth with two new roles.

Responsibilities:

  • ‘Cradle to grave’ approach to the project management of refrigeration installation schemes within the food retail sector.
  • All projects must be delivered on time, within scope, budget and to a high standard.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Survey sites and create scoping documents based on client specification, preferences and good refrigeration practices.
  • Create programmes, phasing plans or other requirements as determined by the project needs, constraints and responsibilities to meet all of the customer’s requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, such as H&S files, programmes, labour request forms and O&Ms.
  • Create and submit pricing documents for each allocated project using a mixture of client and internal schedules where necessary.
  • Take financial responsibility for each scheme including cost tracking and profit forecasting.
  • Work closely with the Clade Installations Manager to select site resource at the correct rates, skillset and levels of experience.
  • Order all materials required for each project based on the designs provided, scope of works and client specification.
  • Visit each live project site on a regular basis and communicate daily with the customer, principal contractor and internal teams.
  • Manage your own time effectively and productively whilst meeting the project requirements and never letting the customer down.
  • Capture all project variations throughout and communicate these appropriately.
  • Identify cost saving options at every opportunity whilst maintaining quality and the specification requirements.
  • Provide the Clade Projects Operations Manager with regular reports and updates on project progress (minimum weekly).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food retail project management.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration is essential.
  • Experience in planning, programming, procurement, and project delivery.

Job Role: Projects Team Administrator

This role provides dedicated administration support to our Project Managers, Projects Operations Manager and Projects Director.  You will work proactively to anticipate needs while exceeding targets and expectations prioritising customer requirements within the retail refrigeration sector.  This fast-paced role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to grow and develop within Clade.

As Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, you will advise on statutory compliance of all relevant operational activities, ensuring current procedures / systems within the business comply with relevant policy and legislation.  You will work closely with teams to provide technical expertise and mentoring while educating the business on regulatory compliance obligations.

Job Role: Graduate Design Engineer

Location: Leeds/Home

Clade Engineering Solutions Ltd are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graduate to join our expanding team and company working across a wide spectrum of retail, leisure and light industrial sites.  If you hold at least a 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or an Engineering bias then keep reading.

Your responsibilities will include (as part of a training programme):

  • Designing and engineering of all types of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Produce mechanical designs primarily in retail sector but also in the leisure and light industrial industries when required.
  • Full ownership and responsibility of mechanical designs and drawing packages to be taken.
  • Knowledge of CO2 Systems desirable but not essential.
  • Working with all relevant components of a refrigeration system such as Compressors, Evaporators, Condensers, Condensing units etc.
  • Working within a team, liaison will be between Electrical Design Engineer, CAD/Revit Engineer to produce a high level of design information to a high company standard.
  • Attend design and site meetings (UK wide) when required.
  • Understand and interpret customer design specifications and standards.
  • Select and procure correct materials and components based on design produced (in line with customer specifications and drawings).
  • Work closely with Clade Project Managers to ensure smooth delivery of mechanical projects based on in house designs.
  • To represent the company at scoping & design meetings (with new and existing customers) when required.
  • The ability to problem solve site conditions against produced design

 Skill Set, Qualifications and Experience

  • At least a 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering or an Engineering bias.

Job Role: Technical Engineer

Location: Manchester/Cheshire region

Flexibility is required with this as weekends may apply and it is a mobile role, travel will be mainly within the Manchester and Cheshire area. There will be a 1 in 4 standby rota applicable to this role, however this isn’t retail based.

Due to contract growth Clade are looking to create a new role in the business which will provide a vital link between our commissioning and after sales department taking responsibility of our customer sites. There is opportunity for the right candidate to develop into a field-based management role as we grow our Heat Pump business.

Assisting with the commissioning, call outs and troubleshooting of heat pumps with C02, Hydrocarbons, refrigeration plant, water chillers and pump stations. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact supporting both our projects and aftersales department by ensuring the commissioning and after sales support to Clade customers is best in class.

Suitable experience from a range of backgrounds will be considered.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate technical knowledge to achieve successful diagnosis of faults. Full in house training will be given for all new products.
