Domestic Hot Water (DHW) Heat Pump Controller
The Clade domestic hot water (DHW) heat pump controller offers an efficient, reliable solution for managing domestic hot water systems. Designed to work with natural refrigerants, it uses smart stratification to maintain optimal temperatures, ensuring a consistent 60°C DHW output while minimising energy use.
Supporting both stored and instantaneous DHW setups, this controller integrates seamlessly with air source heat pumps (ASHPs) to maintain low return temperatures, enhancing system efficiency. With a compact design and an IP55 rating for internal use, it’s ideal for high performance, energy-conscious hot water management.
Benefits of DHW Heat Pump Controllers
- Enhanced Energy Efficiency: Maintains optimal domestic hot water temperatures, reducing energy waste and improving overall system efficiency.
- Consistent Hot Water Output: Provides a stable 60°C domestic hot water output, ensuring reliable supply for high-demand applications.
- Flexible Integration: Compatible with both stored and instantaneous domestic hot water setups, offering versatility in system design.
- Efficient ASHP Compatibility: Supports air source heat pumps by maintaining low return temperatures (30°C for CO₂ systems and below 50°C for propane systems) to optimise pump efficiency.
- Stratification Control for Maximum Storage: Uses stratification to maintain temperature layers, allowing up to 30% of a 2000L vessel’s volume to be occupied by cooler water, while ensuring 1400L of domestic hot water at 60°C is available.
- Compact, Space-Saving Design: At 800mm height, 600mm width, and 200mm depth, it’s ideal for indoor installations, with a robust IP55 rating.
- Eco-Friendly Operation: Utilises natural refrigerants and stratification control, which reduce the carbon footprint by lowering energy demands.
- Customisable Storage Options: Can be adapted for multivessel setups, accommodating hot, stratified, and cold vessels to meet diverse storage needs.
THE CLADE HEAT PUMP PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE
To give our heat pumps customers complete peace of mind. Following installation, commissioning and a 6 month run-in period the actual performance will be assessed against predicted performance. If the heat pump does not meet the guaranteed performance we will refund the cost of the heat pump and remove it from site.
